Our Story

It started with a home-brew kit in 2016. Today, Banks Brewing is one of Australia's most respected independent breweries. Chris and Penny Farmer built it from the ground up in Seaford, on Melbourne's south-east fringe, turning a backyard passion project into a name that now travels across Australia and South-East Asia.

Our limited releases are the ones that get people talking. Small batches that sell out fast and keep the diehards checking their phones for drop dates. But ask us what really defines Banks, and it's the core range: balanced, consistently excellent, and always ultra-fresh.

Quality here is non-negotiable. No shortcuts, no compromises, full cold-chain storage from tank to hand. Every can, every keg, tastes exactly as we intended it to. And underneath all of it is community. Our brewery and taproom on Hi-Tech Place, Seaford, is where locals, beer lovers and travellers pull up a stool and share a few good hours together.
